In my view, the creation of art defines ourselves as humans. I started in art with painting, primarily with acrylic and oil painting. I explored styles ranging from realism to varying levels of abstraction. After that, I discovered a new form of painting, which uses light as its medium: photography. To me, the unique virtue of photography lies in its ability to capture the beauty and truth of moments occurring in time. I now primarily create art behind the camera.
I love photographing a variety of subjects, with an emphasis in architectural, street, portrait, and conceptual photography. There is such fascinating geometry and character in buildings, which I am motivated to document. The movement of life on the streets is a source of constant fascination for me, and I aim to preserve these fleeting moments through photography. Through portraiture, I am inspired by the individual and conveying in an image their identity.
